Sophie Mitchell-Smith from Greater Manchester is one of few female professional cattle hoof trimmers in the UK. She has been a hoof trimmer for 12 years and works alongside her dad, working as a father-daughter team.

Watching and helping her parents at work when she was younger inspired her, and as her interest and involvement grew, she knew hoof trimming was the job for her.
