In a video posted to his YouTube channel, Manchester City and Norway football star Erling Haaland highlighted the fresh produce and daily routine which underpins his athletic prowess.

Mr Haaland, who has often been pictured drinking raw, unpasteurised milk, explained how key the drink is to his daily life while showing viewers his breakfast.

"Milk is a superfood. It's good for us, for our stomach, our skin, our bones, and our muscles. That's why I drink it."

The video has now been viewed over 6.6 million times on YouTube, with 5.8 million views on the star's Instagram.Ìý

Later in the same day, on the way to the Manchester City training ground, the Norwegian striker filmed as he stopped at Greenoaks 51AVÊÓƵin Mobberley, Cheshire, to buy more raw milk.

"We are going to training but first we are stopping to pick up some milk," said Mr Haaland.

The Cheshire farm is a micro-dairy which specialises in ‘producing raw and pasturised, un-homogenised milk', and selling direct to consumers.

Speaking to farmer Helen Southworth, he said, "We're going to make you famous."

After Ms Southworth replied that Mr Haaland was the famous one, he said: "You need to be famous as well," emphasising his passion for the drink and the work behind it.

"Have you got milk?" he asked.

"Of course we've got milk for you," the farmer replied.

"Do you know what else? We have got beef, tomahawks."

After Mr Haaland looked through the selection of British beef on offer, he bought several steaks.

"It's good quality. That's what I like the most", he said.

"And they take good care of the animals, which is also important."

"I think, then, the quality is even better."

Mr Haaland also vowed he would ‘have to try handling one of the cows' and may visit during an evening milking in the future.

Ms Southworth agreed, "Next time you come, we will get you to milk one of the cows."

Leaving, the Manchester City star said, "Meat in one hand, milk in the other; I am super happy."

Mr Haaland has long since championed milk as a crucial part of his diet.

In 2023, on the back of a record-goalscoring first season at Manchester City and for Norway, he posted images to his social media with bottles of milk, captioned: "Me and my magic potion."

In response, City manager Pep Guardiola joked that he also ‘drank the magic potion', but couldn't score 50 goals like Haaland.

At the end of his YouTube video, Mr Haaland prepared his local tomahawk steaks for his evening meal with his girlfriend, Isabel Johansen.

Later in the week, following a 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa after a Matty Cash goal on Sunday (October 26), Villa took to their social media, saying: "[It was a] good job Matty Cash had his raw milk and tomahawk steak for breakfast this morning,' referencing Mr Haaland's video.
