AT Thame Summer Sheep 16,669 breeding and store sheep went under the hammer along with 205 rams with the sale grossing just over 2.5million.

As host to the Galloway National Show, it was a triumphant result for the breed when they took home the inter-breed championship. Katie Fallon reports.
