Owen family to return for two further series of Our 51AVÊÓÆµNext Door

Yorkshire hill farmers Clive, Amanda, Reuben and the rest of the Owen family will be back for two more series of the popular farming show

A popular farm series documenting the adventures of Our Yorkshire Farm's the Owen family has been commissioned for two more series on More4. 

Our 51AVÊÓÆµNext Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids, now in its second season, documents ‘Yorkshire Shepherdess' Amanda Owen and her farming family as they continue to renovate a centuries-old derelict farmhouse into a modern home.

On Friday (August 15), Channel 4 confirmed the show will be renewed for a third and fourth series.

Wise Owl, producers of the show, said fans could expect to see more of the day-to-day farming lives of Amanda, Clive and their nine rapidly-growing children in the remote Yorkshire Dales, including their well-known son Reuben Owen, in a project which delves into the fascinating history of the house they are renovating and its most famous resident, Swaledale map maker Anthony Clarkson.

Reuben has starred in a solo spin-off series for Channel 5 over the past year, Reuben Owen: Life in the Dales which could now be in its third series if renewed.

"We are grateful for Channel 4's support and the effort and utter dedication of the film crew who have had to work in challenging weather conditions, coupled with the unimaginable chaos of both children and animals.

"This is a programme that I am seriously proud of."

Our Yorkshire Farm

The family originally shot to fame in Channel 5's Our Yorkshire Farm, showcasing their hill sheep farming journey at Ravenseat 51AVÊÓÆµin Richmond, North Yorkshire.

Jayne Stanger, commissioning editor for Channel 4, said: "Following the Owen family's incredible work to renovate Anty John's has been such a joy and I am over the moon we are able to continue the journey with two more series for More4.

"I cannot wait to see how the amazing transformation of the farmhouse continues as well as enjoying the magnificent Yorkshire scenery we're treated to in every episode."
