In a turn on his Hollywood 'tough guy' persona, Mr Jones plays an affable and kindly-natured groundskeeper, Geoff Seacombe, in the drama series exploring the aristocracy and the dark world of underground and organised crime.

His character is the gamekeeper of Halstead Manor, who knows everything about the estate and cares deeply for the land.

He also takes in injured animals and cares for them.

The series also stars Breaking Bad's Giancarlo Esposito and fellow hardman actor Ray Winstone.

Filming for the series took place across several locations, including Badminton House in Gloucestershire which is also a working farm.

It has served as film locations for the Bridgerton series and the 2001 film Pearl Harbour starring Ben Affleck.

The Gentlemen is set to start filming in the spring of 2025.
