A sheep had to be put to sleep following a dog attack in Stockport (Cheshire Police Rural Crime Team)
Cheshire Police Rural Crime Team have confirmed another dog attack has led to a farmer losing livestock.
Officers said an 'out of control' dog had attacked a sheep on Sunday (April 28) around mid afternoon at a farm in Poynton.
The sheep had to be put down due to the injuries it sustained from the incident, according to police.

Police constable Jim Clark of Cheshire Police Rural Crime Team said there had been no excuse for the dog not to have been under control.
