In the first ever charity walk for this year's 24 Hours in Farming, the Farmers Guardian team are embarking on what is set to be an epic trek across the countryside.听
The walk will raise money for Yellow Wellies via Len's Light, and Farms For City children, to highlight two important topics: mental health within the industry, and connecting children to the countryside.听
Lynda Eadon, founder of said: "Len's Light was set up in memory of our son Leonard who took his own life aged just 22. We are not a charity but money raised for us is directed to charities which we work closely with and support those needing help.听
"To have FG support us during #farm24 and to help keep our message out there means a huge amount."

Next generation
is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, having connected thousands of inner-city children to farming, nature and the countryside.听
Its mission, said Jo Wild, communications and marketing officer, is to connect as many children as possible, especially given the difficulty of accessing green spaces.听
