Three ewes have suffered fatal injuries after a suspected dog attack in Gravesend.
Kent Police said a dog had been seen attacking sheep on land near Ashenbank Woods at around 9.20am on Monday (May 6).
Officers searched for the dog, believed to be a black and white Spaniel, but it had left the area with its owner.

During the incident, three ewes had been killed with others requiring further treatment, according to officers.
Investigating officer of the incident, police constable Nathan Colman of Kent Police, said: 'This was a very distressing incident and an investigation is underway to identify the person who should have been in control of the dog at the time.
"Offences of this kind also have a significant impact on farmers, particularly during the lambing season.
‘I urge anyone who has information that could assist our enquiries to contact us.'
