A barn fire in Shropshire has resulted in the deaths of over 15 farm animals.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said 300 tonnes of straw and hay inside a barn had caught fire at 4.42am on Wednesday (October 4) in Milson near Cleobury Mortimer.

Crews from Bishops Castle, Bridgnorth, Church Stretton, Cleobury Mortimer, Craven Arms, Much Wenlock, Newport, Telford and Tweedale were all in attendance.

Several crews from across the Service have been tackling a serious barn fire in Cleobury Mortimer since 4.45am today.

Firefighters are using two main jets and one hose reel jet to put out the fire.
We expect to be at the scene for some time.
Crews used a water curtain, jet, hydrant and inflatable dam to put out the fire.
The team did not leave the scene until 8.05pm.
